Tim Osborne, Regional HSE Advisor, EB Safety Group

I have been working for EB Safety Group for the last 9 years as a H&S Advisor visiting the sites for our members who work within my area I cover. I have gained a vast amount of knowledge over the years due to the varied projects our members carry out, which vary from refurbishment work, working as a sub-contractor for larger construction companies, building new warehouses and building new housing developments.

I have been a H&S Advisor for 12 years within the construction industry, achieving Charter Membership with IOSH 10 years ago. I have always been involved in some sort of capacity within the construction industry since I left school many years ago.

I want people to be safe on site and go home to their family at the end of the day. I enjoy what I do as a H&S Advisor as seeing the sites I visit improve since the last H&S visit as to the recommendations I have found on the sites. This makes me happy to see that I am making a difference out there and being listened to.

I like about working for EB Safety Group, no day is the same, no site is the same and you see different faces/personality’s every day.

The company has improved over the past few years bringing it into the 21st century with a new branding and website. H&S inspections now carried out on ipads/phones, this also has the added benefit of providing better information to the Membership. This has made our lives as H&S Advisors much easier, which all adds up to a brighter future for EB Safety Group going forward in the H&S industry.
